I am a technical writer with a background in writing user and technical documentation. I have used a wide variety of document processing software, especially FrameMaker, and have used HTML to create a variety of web sites. In addition, I am a fast learner and have a strong understanding of the technical information I document.

My liberal arts education gave me a generalist's ability to learn about a wide variety of subjects easily and allowed me to hone my writing skills, while the computer classes I took after graduation gave me the technical base I needed to become a successful writer on technical subjects.

My work as a word processor gave me the hands-on experience with such programs as WordPerfect and PageMaker, and instilled in me a sense of pride about the content and esthetics of the documents I produced.

My experience as a technical writer has allowed me to combine all of my previous skills into a career that I love.
