On Monday, August 30, 1999, my parents (Zena and Brad Gurman), my grandfather (Ted Gurman), and I set off on the Crown Princess cruise to Alaska. I, of course, brought my digital camera along and took pictures.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any outdoor pictures until we got to Juneau, so I can't show you anything about Ketchikan. I recommend you check out the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau web site. While in Juneau, the only pictures I took were at Mendenhall Glacier. But Juneau isn't a very visually interesting town (or at least it wasn't in the dreary weather we experienced there that day). Check out the Juneau Convention and Visitors Bureau web site for some pictures taken on sunny days.
I was unable to take any pictures of the picturesque town of Skagway because I had neglected to recharge the batteries in my camera. I was able, however, to take pictures on the White Pass & Yukon Railroad. Do visit the Skagway Convention and Visitors Bureau web site.
